The Yellow Team

The Team

Sebastiano Bazzichetto, PhD

Founder and Editor-in-chief

A young gentleman from the elegantly decadent city of Venezia, Sebastiano moved to Toronto in 2012 to pursue a Ph.D. in Baroque Poetry. Over the years, thanks to his family eclectic taste for the arts, Sebastiano has developed his own passion for art history, opera, ballet and literature. In February 2017, he decided to give birth to a virtual longitude where culture meets a broader readership, through the eyes of a diverse pool of writers and storytellers.

Beatrice Gaspari

Writer and Illustrator

Born in vibrant Milano, Beatrice loves literature and art. She graduated in Classics in 2012, and slowly moved to the artistic side. She currently works in an art gallery in her hometown.
For The Yellow Gloves, Beatrice loves writing about what’s happening around her, and she also designed the magazine’s iconic logo.

Brett F. Braley-Palko
Writer and editor

Brett F. Braley-Palko is a writer, farmer, and dreamer living in Pennsylvania. Having lived in Italy during university, he has a deep appreciation for the culture and arts there. Being an avid reader, Brett is particularly fond of studying the English aristocracy during the Interwar period and its after-effects.

Gianpietro Miolato
Writer and cinema expert
